I sorry she is still not allowed to eat. I'm sure that is making her weaker than she already was. The oncologist's news sounds okay; I'm not sure what he means by it may have been the "culprit" but hasn't spread. That doesn't really make any sense to me, but since he believes it hasn't spread, that is positive.

I'm glad she is out of ICU and back on the oncology floor. I'm sure that will allow you all to spend more time with her. ICU is...

Good news and so so news. She is tiny bit better, meaning it is not worse. There has been slight improvement having a tad less pain. She still is not allowed to eat (6 days now) anything by mouth. They took her out of ICU last night and back on the oncology floor where she was when she spent 8 days in the hospital.

The oncologist met with us and said the disease has not spread, but it may have been the culprit that caused this in her large intestine. But he seemed to slightly doubt...

I'm sorry to hear she has been having pain. Hopefully they are right and it is a hole that will heal itself. I hope the oncologist does not have bad news. Cancer sucks in general, but pancreatic cancer sucks more because it is so hard to fight. There are people that survive it and I am still hoping your mom is one of them.

There are alot of things happening. In short..............She's been in the hospital for 12 days now. She was in for 8 days for weakness, abdomina; pains, and not eating much. I mean, through a whole day, a half a bottle of Boost, 5 spoons of soup and a half a glass of water. They released her when all vitals were good and she was eating solids and doing well. As her oncologist said, a hospital is for sick people.

She came home last Thurs and the next day was brought back by...
