If you don't have the capability or time to work up a slide show, you can do a photo board with photos of them through the years.

I did an invitation for my aunt and uncle's 50th and we had their wedding photo next to a present day photo and it was neat to see how they had changed (and not changed) in 50 years.

I don't think that the decorations are as important as the people who actually come to the party. That will be the most important.
