My favorite (since Michael Johns was let go) is David Cook. If he rocks next week, he'll win. If he does ballads, he may lose to David A. This is one I
really don't care who wins. They are both good and deserving.

I'm ok with whoever wins. I love them both. Really, though, I've wanted David A. to win since the beginning, but I have come to love David Cook.

I was kind of hoping Seyesha would be in the finals with David Cook. I am kind of over David A. He has a good voice, but sings the same kind of song every
week. I want to hear something fast. He just seems rather boring to me. Hasn't really improved much, except he did break that awful lip licking habit!
At least Seyesha tried different kinds of songs and was more of a show business type. I think David Cook will appeal to more people and will be a different
kind of Idol. What was with Fantasia?? Terrible song and look. She is really out there now.

I'm rooting for David A. I didn't really like David C at first, but he has grown on me, so I would be okay if he won too. Being from Utah, I'm
slightly biased towards David A though.

As soon as Fantasia came on, I waled outside to get the mail. She was unbearable to look at and listen to. I actually didn't watch the year after she won
because I didn't understand how she won. LOL I missed the year Carrie Underwood won. LOL

I don't care which David wins - I love them both! I think they will both have great careers, no matter what. I'm betting on David A. to win though -
from the sounds of all the screaming girls when he comes onstage!!!!! My 12-year-old daughter is hoping for him to win - she thinks he's such a hottie!!!!

I think all the teen girls will vote for D.A. If I were a teen I would.he is so cute.
I read that his dad was banned from backstage because he was trying to run the show. I haven't voted since MIchael Johns left. I really don't care who wins. After Taylor Hicks,everbody else is an amatuer anyway.Nobody has any "moves". Amanda did, I still don't understand why she got booted so early. |

Funny that you mentioned the teen girls, Frances! My daughter, who will be 13 next month, is absolutely crazy about David A.!!!! She is seriously sure that
he is her future husband!!! LOL! She even calls him "my fiance"! Ha! Cute. We bought tickets on Saturday to go see the American Idols Concert on
July 20. It's the top 10! I'm excited and Kaitlin is psyched!!! Once again, I don't care which David wins (they both rock), but I really think
David A. will be on top.

OK, I voted about 100 times for DC last night. It will be funny if whoever processes my expense reports actually looks at those phone reciepts. The will be like: What the hey? I think most of the calls were free. (after 9) I hope he wins. I went to I-tunes last night and DLed a lot of my favorite AI songs from this season. I even dl-ed 2 Chickeze songs. They were great! I was so sure it would be DA the way the judges have been propping him up for weeks. Man, was I surprised when my favorite won, not because he isn't talented but because of all the hype over DA. Glad to see America voting for a talented, unique and original person! I only watched the last 15 minutes in real time. I may scan through it this weekend on the Tivo to see some of the other performers. rose |

I am happy David C won. He was my second favorite (Michael Johns was my favorite). I think DC deserved it because he is more versatile, he can sing a ballad
with the best of them, he can sing show songs, and the kid can ROCK!! He was great with ZZ Top! DA was a one style singer, ballads. To me his concerts would
put me to sleep. He is good, he has a very good voice, but he's one dimensional.
Speaking of Michael John, he was very good last night! He should have been up there with Davis C. That would have been a very close vote.

I completely agree with you, Guy. David A. was very one-dimensional and despite his popularity, good looks, etc., I just don't see him singing modern-type
music. I think he's definitely achieved teen star status and he will definitely have a career. He has a beautiful voice, but I agree about the concert
thing. David Cook rocks! I felt bad for my daughter (she wanted David A. to win so badly!!!), but I was actually happy for David Cook! And, I was really
shocked. I was certain that David A. would win. But, it was a happy shocked! I also agree, the performance with ZZ Top was awesome!

that would have been a great finale, MJ with DC! But David A. was just so good! And I think there was a personality conflict with the audience and MJ, which is
why I think he got voted off so early. I think that many viewers did not warm up to him.
DC, on the other hand, had serious personal issues during the show. Ryan gave him an opportunity to discuss it and he never went into details. (He didn't take advantage of it.) The only way people would have known about his brother is if they were on the internet and searched "AC" to see why that was on his guitar. So sad about his brother. He has brain cancer. Elizabeth |
