The actress who plays Ashley is going to be on ET tonight. It is about the weight loss surgery. I just saw the end of the promo so I don't know if she
actually had the surgery. Does anyone know?. I haven't read the board lately so maybe I missed out on this subject.

I *think* CVZ actually did, but I don't know for sure. I have noticed she looked thinner on the show than she did, so she might just be loosing weight and
they wrote this sl in...I doubt if tiic could come up with this sl on their own, so I'm thinking she might have had the surgery. I am taping it tonite so I
guess we'll find out. She's such a beautiful girl, I hate if she did that (because she's beautiful and talented and great as is), but being a
"large" gal myself, I know what it's like to be unhappy with yourself and also being unhealthy. Some say the surgery is easy way out, but I have
done extensive research on lap band, as well as the mini gastric bypass and it seems that it would be easieer the old fashioned way to me. There are so many
things that you *have* to stick to, especially at first, not to mention the complications that can happen with surgery. A co-worker's step mom is in a coma
due to complications from mini gastric bypass, but I have friend who had it done herself, drove herself home from the hospital after having it done and after
the first two weeks has totally rocked and looks awesome!
Whatever CVZ has done/is doing, I wish her well. I just hope the writing will be good for this sl. In Support of Our Guy

I watched the video at the link above and she's so pretty - isn't she? I'm happy for her if this is something that is making her happy. I hope she
finds waht she's looking for at the end of the day.

I understand her desire to get to a healthy weight, truly - I just hope she doesn't fall into the showbiz trap of becoming way
too thin.

Why does everyone have to be so obsessed with weight loss? Every magazine you pick up has before and after pictures, diets, mentions of small dress sizes,
etc. Most of the people in the magazines look ill to me. I realize the camera adds pounds, but do they still do that in this day and age. I have heard that
old saying all my life! Even people not in show business are obsessed with losing weight or feeling guilty with every bite they eat. Here we see Ashlee going
to the gym, eating sparsely and worried about how she looks. Why didn't she do all this before surgery and maybe she would not have needed it. I wish her
well, though and hope she is happy with her decision.

I see the stars wanting to lose weight and I wonder...They have cooks and people to clean the kitchen,why don't they eat differently if they want to lose
weight?
All my friends want to know how I lost weight and when I tell them,they are totally turned off.They don't want to eat healthy,they want a "quick fix". Montel has a great food program (I don't use the D word) He still eats flesh and he looks great. That is what my friends don't want to give up,is the flesh. It didn't bother me as I was already a vegetarian before I went Vegan. I have been holding for about three/four years now.And I STILL eat my pecan pie.just a smaller portion. |
