Next week Nikki goes to London to see Ashley. She tells her what has been going on with Victor and say she needs Ashley's help in regard to Victor. Nikki informs Ashley that Victor is in Paris and that he has been staying at some church. She asks Ashley to go to Paris to find Victor and try to help him. At first Ashley is reluctant to get involved. But Nikki reminds Ashley how many times Victor has helped her. Ashley goes to Paris but finds out from the priest that Victor has left. Ashley follows up on several leads re Victor's whereabouts but she can't find him. She is ready to give up and calls Nikki to say that she is giving up her search for Victor. But then Ashley comes across a clue that makes her believe Victor is at the Notre Dame church.
Melody Thomas Scott is quoted as saying that Nikki realizes that by asking Ashley to help Victor something romantic could happen between the two. But MTS says Nikki would rather have a Victor who hates her (Nikki) who is happy and doing well than for Victor to give up on life.
Eileen Davidson said that while Ashley is reluctant to get involved with Victor's situation she is very "moved" that Nikki is asking for help and Nikki's argument about how Victor has helped her in the past gets her to agree to go seek him out.
Next week the journal that Victor supposedly wrote is published. Jack tells Adam he needs to stay out of it because given his history with Victor if it was known he was involved the credibility of the information would be questioned. With Nikki in London to see Ashley Nick, Phyllis and Victoria try to figure out who was responsible. Sharon becomes involved as well and concludes it is Jack who is responsible. She rips into Jack and tells him she does not want him accompanying her to Paris. Phyllis gets confirmation from someone at the magazine who published the journal that Adam was involved. When Victoria confronts Adam he lies and says he found the journal at the Newman ranch. Adam does tell Heather the truth and then proposes to her. Heather accepts the proposal. Chris Engen says that Adam's relationship with Heather is a bit "dodgy." CE says he thinks Adam really loves Heather but proposing to Heather is a way of "distracting" her from what he did. According to CE Adam is motivated by revenge. He really wanted to be part of the Newman family but they all, especially Victor, rejected him. CE said "for those who really hate Adam, they ain't seen nothing yet."
