Marcy Rylan has signed a new contract with the show.

'Grant Aleksander Comes Home' article - Grant says he has signed a longterm contract to return as Phillip Spaulding in January. He has been close to Head Writer Jill Lorie Hurst for a while and has stayed in touch, she called him at the end of the summer and asked him to return. He was interested in talking, and now it's a done deal. He has talked to several co-stars who have been encouraging him to return for a long time. He has not taped his first scenes yet and is looking forward to seeing what the show has planned. He hopes it will tie up a lot of loose ends for viewers. He says his greatest wish is that having this character back allows them to tell stories they otherwise would not be able to tell and hopefully it's a good thing for the show.

Tune In: There's a section with a Q&A with each show's Music Director. A couple interesting notes from GL's Music Director, Gabriele Solarino - He says when the show uses Bradley's music they usually prerecord him in the studio unless it's 'on the spot' in the script. He talks about using Tom Rhodes' music on the show, he has a couple of reggae tunes that Solarino uses if something tricky is going on, like when Reva and Jeffrey were separated and met in Towers and tried to ignore each other, but couldn't.

'Has Reva's Cancer Returned?' preview article - Reva suffers a terrifying health scare. Reva gets woozy and nearly faints in Josh's arms. Kim says that Reva does never actually passes out, she just gets dizzy. Josh advises her to go to Cedars. "She wasn't doing much of anything but missing Jeffrey, which is why I think she gets scared," points out Zimmer. "She does brush it off as just being preggers." Josh calls Jeffrey with the news and insists on taking Reva to the hospital. At Cedars, Rick runs some tests and the baby is fine. After Jeffrey rushes in, Rick pulls him aside and advises him to take Reva to the oncologist for more tests. Jeffrey has to break the news to Reva. Kim says it's the worst possible thing at this point in Reva's pregnancy, she knows what a visit to the oncologist probably means. As they pay a visit to Dr. Alcott, Jeffrey does his best to calm Reva's fears. "He promises to be there for her no matter what the prognosis," says Zimmer. Reva vows to save her baby's life before her own and clutches the sonogram picture as she is wheeled in for an MRI. "Of course, she'll put her baby's life first! Family is everything to Reva Shayne." As they wait for the test results, Reva tells Jeffrey she's ready to fight if her cancer has returned. Kim says that Reva will fight the cancer, "but not at the risk of her baby's life. Which means no chemo."

'Reva's Cancer Returns' preview article - (All of the Kim quotes used in this one are exact, word for word as Digest...) Josh takes Reva to the hospital after her dizzy spell, he has Jeffrey meet them at Cedars. Rick urges Jeffrey to have Reva see her oncologist. Reva tells Jeffrey all that matters is the baby, he is able to persuade her to have an MRI. After the MRI, Reva and Jeffrey wait for the results anxiously, realizing that if the cancer is back, the decision might be Reva's life or the baby's. When asked if Reva will fight the cancer head-on, Zimmer declares, "She'll battle it, all right, but not at the risk of her baby's life - which means no chemo!" Unfortunately, Reva might not have a choice.

Hot Couple Alert! Reva and Jeffrey are the best couple on GL. I'd lost interest in the soap until these two dynamic characters got together. There is no doubt they are very popular, as you can see by the polls. Kim Zimmer and Bradley Cole have great chemistry and wonderful comedic timing. They are so entertaining and compliment each other well. I look forward to seeing more of them.

In next week's TV Guide there is a one line mention in the Soaps section that Reva finds out she might have leukemia and is advised to terminate the pregnancy.
